I think they're related because Link looks the same. Tetra is involved in two. And they're all cell-shaded... But still... Why is there something fishy about it? I want to know now! >.<
Are they related because they're all cell-shaded?

| I think it's becaused of Cell Shade. On my Time line, it is after PH being a sequel to it on new Hyrule. That's what I think is related about it. In case you don't know, you can find it's place on the timeline, here...
